Women's Ministry

Knowing the Word is the only sure means of discerning truth from error. Women need to become articulate and committed followers of Christ, with a clear understanding of why they believe what they believe, grounded in the Word of God. Women are most frequently appealed to through their emotions. Because of that, the studies promoted by LifeLine will advocate for women to have Bible literacy, love God with their minds, and follow Christ as His disciple.
LifeLine for Women is a ministry to encourage women to develop a growing and intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ thru the study of God's Word in fellowship with other women. Our purpose is to make disciples who will grow up in Christ and make disciples. Welcome are those still seeking as well as those desiring to continue to grow in their walk with the Lord. We offer weekly Bible study classes for women, utilizing in-person classes as well as Zoom classes.

A Precept Study by Kay Arthur. In these last days, the doctrine of salvation is being corrupted by many…. even within our churches. But Paul says in Romans 1 that the gospel is the power of God unto salvation. We are called to “contend” for the doctrines of the faith in Jude. Therefore, we must know the truth. What does God’s Word say the true Gospel is?   Romans 1 - 5 explains the foundational doctrines of our faith - original sin, justification, redemption, and propitiation. Gain an excellent grasp of the doctrine of salvation! Come to grasp the power of the gospel that the Apostle Paul proclaims.

A study by Kristi Mclelland. Imagine walking the dusty roads of Galilee with Jesus of Nazareth—braving jostling crowds just to touch the edge of His cloak and hear Him say, “Take heart, daughter, your faith has healed you.” Those words, once meant to comfort a hurting woman’s soul thousands of years ago, were also meant for you.  Join biblical culturalist Kristi McLelland on those dusty roads as she transports you back to Jesus’ world, following in the footsteps of the women who came face-to-face with the Living God.

"Abide:A Study of 1, 2, 3 John"

Thursday Morning   I   9:30–11:30 am   I   Room 416/417

Cost: $30 with book/$10 without book

A study by Jen Wilkin. How can we hold onto assurance of our faith? How can we discern the truth from a lie? How can we know God loves us?  In three short letters, the apostle John reminds an early church facing division, deception, and doubt to hold fast to what they know and to live like they believe it. And he reminds us, as well. In this 10-session Bible study on the letters of 1, 2, and 3, John, Jen Wilkin helps you see how two thousand years later, his words call to Christians in similar challenges to recall a great salvation and to abide in the truth.

"1 & 2 Thessalonians"

Sunday Evening   I   5:15–7:30 pm   I   Room 414
Leader: Joan Powell
Cost: $30 with book/$10 without book
Childcare is available with a Love Offering donation

This is a Precept Upon Precept two-part study by Kay Arthur.
1 Thessalonians ("Blameless At His Coming") - Are you an example to others? Learn the principles of exemplary Christian living. Understand the spiritual warfare, sparked by the presence of the gospel in the world, and the rapture of the church—God's ultimate rescue.
2 Thessalonians ("So You Won't Be Deceived") - Don't be confused about "the Day of the Lord." The Thessalonians were interested in the end times, just as we are today. But they were confused until they received this letter from Paul. Include this book in your study of prophecy to fully understand what God says about the last days.
