First Connection is Sunday, November 3. Join us in the Fellowship Hall to learn more about who FBCD is and where we are going. The class is taught in both English and Spanish and is a great first-step in joining our church family or simply hearing our heart for the gospel, our community, and for making disciples. Childcare and lunch are provided. You can RSVP by clicking the link below. However, walk-ups are always welcome, too.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Operation Christmas Child is a ministry initiative we participate in every year to send shoeboxes of gifts to needy children around the world—showering them with blessing, prayer, and the gospel. Our shoebox drive runs through November 24. We will have a time of celebration and prayer of dedication over all of the shoeboxes on November 24 during our worship service. Participate by picking up a shoebox from the foyer and filling it with items for that child's age & gender. Click the link below for more information.

DEACON NOMINATIONS
The Deacon Nominating Committee is currently in the process of selecting the new Deacons for 2025. We ask that you prayerfully submit the names of the men you would like to present for consideration. All nominations need to be submitted to the church office by Sunday, October 20. You can pick up a nomination card from the church office throughout the week. You may return them during the service in the offering plate, after the service at the Welcome Desk, or to the church office at any time.

The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering is an annual offering collected by believers around the world to support international missions. This offering is unique from other mission offerings in that 100% of gifts provide for missionaries all over the world. This year, our church’s goal is $30,000. Please prayerfully consider giving above your normal tithe and join us in this opportunity to take the gospel to the nations.
