First Connection is Sunday, March 9. Join us in the Fellowship Hall to learn more about who FBCD is and where we are going. The class is taught in both English and Spanish and is a great first-step in joining our church family or simply hearing our heart for the gospel, our community, and for making disciples. Childcare and lunch are provided. You can RSVP by clicking the link below. However, walk-ups are always welcome, too.

FLAG FOOTBALL
Flag Football registration is now open for 1st-8th grade boys and girls. Go Sports Athletics is eager to help young athletes grow in their skill while simultaneously strengthening their relationship with Christ. Evaluations will be held on February 22 and games will begin in March. Register using the links below. Email Pastor Phillip at pmorris@gofbcd.org with any questions.

We invite you to invest in your marriage by joining us for the 2025 Marriage Conference on Friday evening March 28 from 6:00-8:30pm. Adults will be served a meal that is included in the price. If you need childcare, we ask that you feed them dinner before arrival or have them bring it with them. A small snack will be provided for them later in the evening. Don’t forget to register today for Early Bird prices online or at the table in the foyer. On Monday the price will be $20 per adult and $5 per child for childcare.

DISASTER RELIEF TRAINING

On February 21-22, there will be disaster relief training in Americus, GA. This training is provided by the Georgia Baptist Mission Board and is required to support their disaster relief efforts. Disciple Now (DNow) is a weekend event for students all over the county who are coming together to worship the Lord and grow in their faith. DNow next year will be February 28 – March 2. The cost is $70 per student. If you have any questions about serving or want more information about this event, please contact Pastor Landon at lmoss@gofbcd.org. Register using the link below.

Tumbling classes are offered for 1st-12th graders that want to improve their tumbling skills or are interested in cheering in our Go Cheer Ministry for the 2025-26 season. The session for skill levels ranging from beginner to intermediate is Tuesday nights - 6:00-7:00 pm and the advanced class will be Tuesday from 7:00-8:00 pm. You can select 4 or 8 sessions for your athlete with the first 4 sessions beginning March 4 and the next 4 sessions beginning April 1. Register online and if you are interested in volunteering as a spotter for tumbling, please email gocheer@gofbcd.org.

GIFT OF LOVE FUNDRAISER
March 16
The Gift of Love is a backpack ministry that supports children in need by providing many resources including weekend meals, meals while students are on school break, back to school resources, etc. Come out to support them March 16 following the worship service as they host a spaghetti lunch to fundraise for the ministry. Purchasing tickets will be available soon!
